ANCHORAGE (AP) -- An 18-year-old and two juveniles were caught at Service High School in Anchorage early Saturday, according to police.
All three have been charged with burglary. Two were also charged with underage possession of alcohol.
Police said they arrested Michael Witman, 18, and two younger males, ages 16 and 17.
Witman apparently never attended the school, but one of the juveniles is a current student at Service, and the other once went there, police reported.
An alarm summoned police to the school at about 4:10 a.m., and police said they captured Witman inside the school. The juveniles were caught outside as they tried to run away.
One of the boys told police they got into the school through a door that apparently didn't lock properly. They were in the school for about two hours and had taken a VCR and some computer speakers from a classroom, according to police.
Witman was taken to Cook Inlet Pre-Trial and held on bail of $3,250. The juveniles were taken to McLaughlin Youth Center.
