Officer Watson remembered for cheerfulness, helpfulness

Posted: Tuesday, January 06, 2004

I join everyone who feels the sadness of Officer Watson's needless death.

We live in Soldotna in the summer, and I had met Officer Watson on several occasions. He was always cheerful and very helpful of anything I inquired about.

The police on the Kenai Peninsula do such a good job. I always worry about them in the summer when the roads are so very busy. We have been summer residents for 24 years, so we consider Soldotna our home.

Thank you to all the other city employees for all your hard work and God bless.
