Passing on the knowledge

Ken Kole, governor of Peninsula Moose Lodge No. 1942, stand with three Kenai Central igh School students - from left, Mariah Meeks, Kylee vienna and jessi Reilly - from the Youth Awareness program, which is deisgned to teach drug prevention.

The young women recently were selected to attend the program's state conference in Anchorage. The students plan to travel to area elementary schools to give presentations. The Moose Lodge also purchased more than 50 gloves and mittens for area schools earlier this winter.
