Wagoner to speak at Kenai chamber

Homer PTSO plan discussion
There will be a Parent Teacher Student Organization meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Homer High School library. Staff cuts and federal mandates will be discussed. The meeting is open to the public.
Photographers guild to meet
The Kenai Peninsula Photographers Guild will meet 7 p.m. Thursday at the Kenai Peninsula College Art Gallery to view and discuss the Rarefied Light exhibit. KPC photography instructor Jayne Jones will speak about the college's photography program. The public is welcome and invited to bring slides or prints to show. Quilting brunch planned
The Peninsula Take a Break will hold a "Colorful ... Crazy ... Quilting Brunch" Jan. 21 from 10 until 11:30 a.m. at the Solid Rock Conference Center. Pat Reese of Robin Place Fabrics will present a fashion show of quilts that can be worn, and Bonnie Warner will share how her life went "from patchwork to peace." Fund-raising auction planned
The Kenaitze Indian Tribe will hold a semi-formal dinner and auction Feb. 7 at 7 p.m. at the Kenai Senior Citizens Center. Donations for the auction are being accepted. Programs to benefit from the auction include Native Youth Olympics, Jabila'ina dance group, Chuda Kuya drum group, Fish Camp, Susten Camp and Moose Camp.
