Homer hockey team cruises past Palmer

Homer picked up a North Star Conference victory over Palmer Friday in Homer.

Justin Adams had three goals and two assists to lead the Mariners.

Nikiski drops games to Palmer, Kenny Lake

The Nikiski hockey team dropped a game to Palmer on Thursday and Kenny Lake on Friday. Both games were at home for the Bulldogs.

In Thursday’s game, Nikiski lost to Palmer 6-4. The Bulldogs had 2-0 and 4-3 leads, but the Moose scored the final three goals of the game.

In Friday’s game, Kenny Lake picked up a 9-3 Greatland Conference victory over the Bulldogs. Kenneth Maxwell had six goals to lead Kenny Lake.
