The Oilers have added a left-handed pitcher to the 2002 roster with the signing of Stetson Universitys Roger Lincoln.

Dave Magadan (Oilers 1982) batted .250 for the San Diego Padres. The 2001 season was Magadans 16th in the major leagues and he has a .288 career batting average.
Dave Matranga (Oilers 1996) hit a combined .290 with 11 home runs and 90 runs batted in while splitting time with the Houston Astros Triple A affiliate New Orleans Zephyrs and the Double A Round Rock Express.
Scott Seal (Oilers 1996) split time with the Colorado Rockies Double A affiliate Carolina Mudcats and Single A Salem Avalanche.
Damon Katz (Oilers 1999) split time with the Cleveland Indians Single A affiliates Kinston Indians and Columbus Redstixx. Katz was used primarily as a shortstop although he did make one appearance as a pitcher, notching a save.
