Accident victim improving in hospital

A Sterling woman seriously injured in a Sunday automobile accident has been moved out of the intensive care unit at Central Peninsula General Hospital.
Barbara Pennington, 51, was injured in the same accident that killed her husband, Robin, in a crash on the Sterling Highway.
According to a hospital spokesperson Wednesday, Pennington's condition had been upgraded to fair.
