Abrahamson makes dean's list

Ingrid Abrahamson of Anchor Point was named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Montana State University.

To be placed on the dean's list, students must carry a minimum of 12 credit hours and earn a grade point average of 3.5 or better.

Baldwin named to honor roll

Charles Baldwin of Kenai was named to the dean's honor roll for the spring semester at Abilene Christian University. To make the honor roll, a student must complete at least 12 semester hours and earn a 3.45 or higher grade point average.


Annabeth Marie Miller

Baldwin currently is working toward a bachelor's degree in physics.

Miller earns bachelor's degree

Annabeth Marie Miller of Nikiski was awarded a bachelor of science degree in biology, with minors in archaeology and psychology from the University of Nevada Reno on Dec. 6.

She is the daughter of Fred and Bonnie Miller.

Miller is a 1999 graduate of Nikiski High School.

Schirmers, Luckman graduate magna cum laude

Soldotna residents Elisabeth Ann Schirmers and Theodore James Luckman graduated magna cum laude from Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn.

Schirmers received a bachelor of arts degree in communications with an emphasis in advertising. While in college, she was the graphics art editor for the university's yearbook for two years and participated with the Acts of God drama ministry team on tours throughout the United States and Trinidad.

Luckman received bachelor of science degrees in accounting and business. He will take his CPA boards in Tennessee. While attending college, he traveled to Russia as part of the university's international studies program in business.

Schirmers is the daughter of Bruce and Linda Schirmers.

Luckman is the son of Connie and Dan Luckman.

Both are 1999 graduates of Soldotna High School.
