The Skyview Panthers hockey team dropped a close 4-2 decision Saturday to the Wasilla Warriors at the Brett Memorial Ice Arena in Wasilla.
Trailing 3-0 heading into the third period, the Panthers cut Wasilla's lead to one goal after getting scores from Daryl Seichwitz and Nelson Kempf in the first five minutes of the period.
However, just two minutes after Kempf cut the lead to 3-2, Wasilla's Tanner Dutcher beat Skyview goalie Kris Marshall for the second time in the game, giving Wasilla its final margin of victory.
Marshall made 28 saves on the night, while Wasilla goalie Ronnie Walker made 24 to pick up the win.
Wasilla also got goals from Track Palin and Jeremiah Dargis. Skyview's Paddy Iverson and Cody Carver each picked up an assist for the Panthers.
