Leave the coal -- and salmon -- alone

Posted: Wednesday, January 12, 2011

Coal under the Chuitna River? Let's see -- they want to jeopardize the wellbeing of one of our natural renewable resources (salmon) so they can sell coal to a foreign country? A few people making a profit and a foreign country getting affordable energy. How about somebody finding an affordable energy for us folks here on the Kenai to heat our homes that won't endanger our environment?

You want to make some serious money? Solve that problem -- and leave the salmon alone.
