Addictions group meets

Reformers Unanimous, a Christ-centered addictions program, meets from 7 to 9 p.m. Fridays at the Immanuel Baptist Church.

The program is designed to direct the addicted back to God’s support group — the church. For more information, call 283-9361.

Clothes Quarters lists schedule

Clothes Quarters in the back of the parking lot of Our Lady of the Angels Church, 225 South Spruce St., in Kenai, is open the first Saturday of the month from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. through April and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays.

Soldotna begins Bible study

Soldotna Day Aglow meets from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesdays at Peninsula Christian Center. Starting Jan. 25, it will conduct a Beth Moore Bible study called, “A Heart Like His.”

The study, which will continue for 10 weeks, is about seeking the heart of God through the study of David. For more information, call Brenda at 262-2569.

Catholic mission continues

Father Robert Morin, an Oblate of Mary Immaculate missionary, will celebrate daily Mass at noon with a talk following, Monday through Thursday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Soldotna. He also will make evening presentations at 7 Sunday through Thursday. Forgiveness and healing are the mission topics.

Leadership strategist to speak

Dale Van Steenis, founder of Leadership Strategies Incorporated, will speak Feb. 4, 5, 7 and 8 at Abundant Life Assembly of God in Sterling. The author of “Miracles Around the Globe” will report on the movement of the spirit around the world.

Presentations are planned for 7 p.m. Feb. 4; 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Feb. 5; and 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Feb. 7 and 8. For more information, call 262-7266.

Women’s Bible study offered

“Precepts,” a women’s Bible study on the book of Joshua, is being offered at 10 a.m. Thursday by the First Baptist Church of Kenai.
