Too bad there's no capital punishment in Alaska

Posted: Wednesday, January 14, 2004

Your coverage on the death of John Watson was outstanding. I went to the funeral. The service was one filled with compassion and love. When I was a state trooper and before retiring, I talked to John on occasion. He was always in good spirits and and left you feeling good when you left. He was a true down-to-earth-natured person, who cared about others.

I only wish they had capital punishment in Alaska.

Thank you.
