Cook Inlet Academy

Students of the Week are Patrick Michels, for being a great listener; Noah Leaf, for always being a happy helper; Amber Hamar, for improvement in dribbling a ball; Kayla Moore, for friendliness; Mac Wynkoop, for great behavior and attitude; Bethany Estes, for eagerness in participation of vertebrates discussion; Albert White, for excellence in Bible memorization; Jessie McNutt, for getting 100 percent on a math test; and Haley Michel, for doing an awesome science presentation.

Thanks to all the parents and volunteers who helped to make the annual Cook Inlet Classic basketball tournament a success.

Congratulations to the boys' team for winning the Cook Inlet Classic and for placing fourth at the Anchorage Christian School tournament during the Christmas break. Both the girls' and boys' teams will participate in the Heritage tournament in Anchorage on Thursday through Saturday.

The junior varsity basketball teams have games in Ninilchik today.

Friday is the last day of the semester.

Parent-Teacher Fellowship will be at 7 p.m. Jan. 26.
