Redoubt After the Bell seeks tutors

The After the Bell program at Redoubt Elementary School is seeking volunteer tutors and mentors for students with varying needs. Volunteers meet with students one hour a week between 4 and 6 p.m. Monday to Thursday.

Anyone interested in volunteering with the program is invited to a training and orientation session from 4 to 5 p.m. Jan. 23 in the Redoubt Elementary School library. The session is sponsored by the After the Bell program, Kenai Peninsula College and ProLiteracy America. Participants do not need to commit to volunteering to attend the training.
