Ninilchik resident Lillian Toomer died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006, at her home in Ninilchik. She was 77.
At her request, no services will be held.
Mrs. Toomer was born Feb. 6, 1928, in Round Rock, Texas, and graduated high school. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Toomer moved to Ninilchik on June 1, 2005, and enjoyed reading and yard work.
“Lillian was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all her friends and family. She also loved Alaska and all of its beautiful surroundings,” her family said.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse.
She is survived by her son, Cecil Moseley of Ninilchik; daughters, Lequitta Mancuso of Anderson, Texas and D’Rinda Cotton of Ninilchik; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four stepchildren; numerous stepgrandchildren; brothers, Joe Holloway of Palestine, Texas and Robert Holloway of Huntsville, Texas; and sister, Dawn Armstrong of Texas.
Arrangements were made by Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai.
