Seahawks sweep Rams

The Seward girls basketball team picked up a 60-34 victory over host Susitna Valley Saturday in Southcentral Conference action.

Kursten Stallings had 15 points for Seward, while Siri Gillespie pitched in 10.

Seward boys 68, Susitna Valley 58

The Seahawks picked up a Southcentral Conference victory Saturday at Susitna Valley.

Mitch Harris had 21 points for Seward, while Corey Hetrick had 20 points and Isaac Swiderski had 13 points. For Su Valley, Damon Thompson had 18 points, Boone Howard had 16 points and Travis Clark had 14 points.

Anchorage Christian Schools girls 37, Seward 34

The Lions picked up a Southcentral Conference victory over the Seahawks Friday in Anchorage.

Courtney Hoch paced the Lions with 11 points, while Rachael Crane was the game’s top scorer with 13 points.

Anchorage Christian Schools boys 66, Seward 48

The Lions grabbed a 15-8 lead after the first quarter en route to beating the Seahawks in a Southcentral Conference Friday in Anchorage.

Tom Bowen had 24 points for ACS, while Chad Dyson had 14 points and Donald Koontz added 10 points. Seward’s Corey Hetrick paced the Seahawks with 22 points, while Caleb Adelmann added 12 points.
