Former Soldotna resident Abigail Maurine Verhelst of Brighton, Mass., died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, in Kent, Ohio, from injuries sustained in an auto accident. She was 22.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007, at Soldotna United Methodist Church in Soldotna.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Abigail M. Verhelst Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank, to be donated to her high school and university.
