The Kenai Peninsula Safari Club International recently sponsored an educational moose hunt. The Teens on Target group of eight young ladies were selected for the hunt. The hunt took place in late November. Most of the girls had no experience hunting a big game animal. They were taught how to identify the sex of a moose, skinning, anatomy, and processing the meat. While processing the moose, the girls also received a wild game cooking lesson in Elaina Spraker's kitchen.
