Seward resident Olga (Kozevnikoff) Prince died Monday, Jan. 13, 2003, of natural causes at Wesley Rehabilitation and Care Center in Seward. She was 86.
A visitation will be at 8 a.m. today at St. Anthony Catholic Church, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. with Rev. Nelson Marilag officiating. Pallbearers will include Cress Carney, Max Lopez, Fred McCormick Jr., John Lopez, Burnie Weathers and Christopher Prince. Burial will be at Anchorage Memorial Park Cemetery in the spring.
Mrs. Prince was born Dec. 23, 1916, in Kotlik. She lived in Old Hamilton, Sheldon's Point, Dillingham and Anchorage. She was retired from the civil service where she worked as a cook at Kanakanak Hospital in Dillingham.
She enjoyed cooking for her family, knitting, sewing and reading.
Mrs. Prince was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew K. Prince Sr.; and children, Benjamin R. Prince, Dorothy R. Prince, Andrew K. Prince Jr., Max E. Prince and John C. Prince.
She is survived by her daughters, Ann Armella Carney of Nikiski, Teresa M. Pope of Anchorage, M. Noelita C. Lopez of Nikiski and Tatiana R. McCormick of Dillingham; sons, Martin D. Prince of Bethel, Nicholas Albert Prince of Anchorage, Michael S. Prince Sr. of Emmonak, Franklin J. Prince of Anchorage, Merlin D. Prince of Nikiski and George T. Prince of Anchorage; sisters, Virginia Kalland of Kaltag, and Pearlie Johnson of Emmonak; 33 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were made by Evergreen Memorial Chapel.
