Nutrition classes slated

Contracts, fees top discussion list for Parks

The Southern Peninsula State Parks Citizens Advisory Board will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Ninilchik Senior Citizens Center. Topics will include an update on contracting operations of the Anchor River State Recreation Area, current day-use fees at Ninilchik state parks, review of the Deep Creek boat launch service and an update on the Anchor River capital improvement project request. Reading carnival planned

The Kenai Peninsula Reading Council will host the third annual Peninsula Reading Carnival on Jan. 29.
