Sterling resident James Oliver Ellsworth Morehart died Friday, Jan. 9, 2004, in Sterling. He was 27.
Funeral services are being held in Cabot, Ark.
Mr. Morehart was born May 27, 1976, in Little Rock, Ark. He was home schooled. He worked for Georgia Pacific Corp. from 1988 to 2002. On March 10, 2002, he moved to Sterling. He was in an accident and disabled in 2003.
"Jimbo had a big heart of love. He also loved and believed in Jesus and enjoyed old cars and trucks," his family said.
Mr. Morehart is survived by his mother, Sharon Speer of Sterling; his father, Robert Morehart Sr. of Cabot; brother, Robert Morehart II and his wife, April, of Soldotna; sister, Sherry Morehart of Louisiana; stepchildren, Ashley and Terry Turner of North Little Rock, Ark.; grandmother, Verval Alexander of Arkansas; and many nieces and nephews in Alaska and Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Mr. Morehart's mother at P.O. Box 1370, Sterling, AK 99672.
Arrangements were made by Peninsula Memorial Chapel.
