ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Anchorage police are investigating another death on the city's streets -- the third such death in the past eight days.
A passer-by discovered the body near the Chester Creek Trail early Thursday. The man was fully clothed and was lying on the ground near some stairs.
Police said they don't know what happened, but the death appears weather-related or caused by an accident, like a fall.
The victim was a Native male who appeared to be in his late 40s or early 50s, police said.
Two bodies were found last week: one behind the Anchorage Hilton Hotel and the other near a bench in the city's midtown.
Police believe both men died of hypothermia.
