Congratulations to all the participants of the Scripps Anchorage Daily News Spelling Bee. The winners are Sarah Cobb, first, Esther Knox, second, and a three-way-tie for third between Mattie Cobb, Minna Bogard and Joanna Daniels. Sarah will travel to Anchorage to compete at the state qualifying bee. Good luck, Sarah.

Scholastic book orders are available at the office. Orders are due Jan. 28 at the Kenai office.

Terra Nova testing will be held for fifth and seventh grades Feb. 3 in Seward at the Seward Chapel, Feb. 8 at the Kenai River Center on Funny River Road and Feb. 9 in Homer at Land's End. Students should arrive at 8:30 a.m. to sign in and testing will begin promptly at 9 a.m. Questions regarding testing may be directed to Chad Sorenson at 260-7555.

The resource room is full of lightly used curriculum and supplements, so we are having a curriculum sale Feb. 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All curriculum will be 50 percent off the marked price.
