An EMT I class will be offered the end of the month. Interested high school students or community members should contact Sue Simonds.

Congratulations to Kit Hall for placing third in the Voice of Democracy essay contest. She received a U.S. savings bond for her effort.

Students participating in Close Up are raising funds for their trip to Washington, D.C., in April. This trip is an opportunity to observe how our government functions and to visit the many monuments and memorials throughout our nation's capital.

The group has been selling pizzas and baked goods, conducting split-the-pot raffles and writing letters. They would like to thank all who have donated.

The science fair is today. Parents may view the projects from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the school.

High school basketball teams travel to Cordova from Thursday through Saturday.
