Mrs. Dusek and Mrs. Hurst are hosting a cupcake and cake walk during Fun Fest on Friday. Cupcake and cake donations can be brought to room three or five any time Friday.
Fun Fest is Friday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Students planning to attend need to return their permission slips and money by Friday morning.
Friday also is Sport Spirit and Hat Day. Students and staff can wear their favorite sports shirt, team colors, school shirt or school colors (red, blue and yellow). Hats also may be worn.
Cole Tallman is Redoubt's 2005 Geography Bee champion. Cole has taken the qualifying exam to proceed to the next level in the bee. Jordan Holly participated in the championship round with Cole and placed second. Evan Withrow placed third. Congratulations to these students who also qualified to participate in the schoolwide bee Jan. 11: Mason Merriman, Aleigha Davidson, Derek Thomson, Cory Carver, Zack Waters, Meera Oftedal, Tyler Brown, Mariah Henson, Jonathon Knight, Cyle Williams, Brittania Wilson, Shannon Wyatt, Taylor Ross, Nathan Belden and Mariah Ulen.
Bingo for Books is coming in February. Book donations are needed, particularly for fifth and eighth grade.
Report cards for all students will be sent home Monday.
