Tustumena will join other schools in collecting money to donate to the Glorious Children Fund to aid tsunami victims in India. This organization is recognized by the government as an officially approved relief agency. Participating schools call the program "Loose change can change the world." There will be a collection jar on the front counter of the school's office.

Students in good standing with the Lynx Tracks program will travel to the Soldotna Sports Center on Jan. 26 or 27 for an ice skating activity. Written permission to attend is required, along with a fee of $3 paid prior to departure.

Kindergarten preregistration will begin Monday for the 2005-06 school year. Parents with children reaching age 5 by Sept. 1 should stop by the school to pick up registration forms.
