Addictions group meets

Reformers Unanimous, a Christ-centered addictions program, meets at 7 p.m. Fridays at Immanuel Baptist Church. For more information, call 283-9361.

Clothes available for needy

First Baptist Church’s clothes closet offers clothing for those in need from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays in the garage at 119 Little St., off Binkley in Soldotna. On Saturdays with inclement weather, the clothes closet will be open by appointment only. To make an appointment, call 260-4806.

Church conference slated

Kalifonsky Christian Center contines its “Blow the Trumpet of Fire” conference from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at the center at Mile 17 Kalifornsky Beach Road. Guest speakers include Jeff Burke, Paul Wakely, Pablo Silberbeib, Hector Lopez, Judith Green, Cleave Sharp, Allen Higgins, Mike Curtis, Sandra Dolan and Darrell Stott. Kids’ night out planned

Lighthouse Community Church hosts Kids’ Night Out from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sundays. Van rides are available. Children in grades kindergarten through six are eligible to attend.

Christ Lutheran Church is offering “Lifeshapes and Transforming Truths” classes Tuesday mornings and evenings and Wednesday evenings.

Soldotna Day Aglow will hold a Beth Moore Bible study called “Believing God” at 10 a.m. Wednesdays at Peninsula Christian Center, behind the Salvation Army in Soldotna. Fellowship and a coffee drawing begins at 9:30 a.m. Childcare is provided.

Clothes Quarters is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 225 S. Spruce St. in Kenai.

Church photos wanted

Is something special happening at your church? A fundraiser? Social? Activity?The Clarion is encouraging central Kenai Peninsula churches to send a photo of your event to add to the Religion page.

A brief explanation of the photo, event and church, plus a contact name, address, phone number, who took the photo and when it was taken must be included.

Photos either can be color or black and white and may be e-mailed to, dropped off at 150 Trading Bay or mailed to the Clarion at P.O. Box 3009, Kenai, 99611. Photos with an address written on the back will be returned.
