Judges' efforts appreciated
We would like to acknowledge and thank the ladies who gave of their time and expertise to serve as judges for this year's Creative Patriotic Art Program sponsored by our VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Jerry V. Horn Post 10046, namely, Melinda Hershberger, Ami Rediski and I.N. Gabbett. Your help was greatly appreciated.

Alexia Franklin, Cory Lupsin, Gabrielle Franklin and Michael Franklin zoom down the sledding hill at the end of Forest Drive on the bluff in Kenai last weekend. The three siblings and their friends had a minimum amount of gear for the icy hill. "We don't need sleds," Michael Franklin said.

Kaizen Mitchell of Kenai seems to say, "Come on Mom, let them out to play!" According to Leila Mitchell, she is the owner of both dogs, Lennon and Gayge and the child.

Annie is a six-year-old Poodle. Her owner, Carolyn Unger says, "She is the queen of the house and lives in the lap of luxury or should we say the bed of luxury."
