Call for metal and wood artists
Kenai River Council on the Arts is calling for metal and wood artists to exhibit in the February 2011 Sculpture Exhibit.
Deadline for entries is Friday, Jan. 28 at 5 p.m. at the Kenai Fine Arts Center.
Irish entertainer coming to the Peninsula
Irish musician Seamus Kennedy will perform at the Soldotna Elks Lodge on Jan. 25 and 26. Tickets are on sale at Sweeney's in Soldotna.
Kenai Watershed Forum benefit concert coming up
A Winter River Fest concert to benefit the Kenai Watershed Forum will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 28 at Peninsula Grace Auditorium on K-Beach . Admission is $10 per person or $25 for families.
Performers will include Sue Biggs and Jack Will, Robbie Smithwick, Vickie Tinker and Dan Pascucci.
