Steak feed fundraiser set

The Kenai Central High School hockey team will sponsor a steak feed from 3 to 8 p.m. Jan. 28 at the Challenger Learning Center of Alaska. A silent auction is planned and door prizes will be drawn every hour.

The price of admission is $15 per person. New York steak (barbecued outside), salads, dessert and a drink are included in admission.

Tickets are available from Kardinal players and at IGA Country Foods from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today.

CPH old entrances to close

Central Peninsula Hospital will close the entrances to the old part of the hospital, renamed the River Pavilion, on Friday.

The entrances will be closed to due to renovation on the old hospital as part of the Phase lll project.

Patients and visitors will need to use the Mountain Tower entrance, the emergency department entrance or the entrance near the gift shop at the east end of the hospital.

Fundraiser for Ninilchik library scheduled

A fundraiser for the Ninilchik Community Library will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday in the Carol Bock Hall at the Ninilchik Fairgrounds. The fundraiser will include a talent show and a spaghetti dinner and dessert silent auction.
