ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Alaska State Troopers are investigating the death of a man in the southwest Alaska village of Koliganek.

The body of Gerasim Wysocki, 20, was found in a ditch near his four-wheeler at about 9 a.m. Wednesday, troopers said.

Wysocki was last seen at about 11:40 p.m. Tuesday, when he left a friend's house and headed for home.

Investigators think he may have been thrown from his four-wheeler and died from possible head and neck injuries and exposure to the weather. Temperatures in the area had dipped into the teens.

Investigators said there were no signs of foul play.

An autopsy will be done to determine the cause of death.
