Mother grateful for volunteers
I am writing this letter for all of the people who prayed, looked and worried about my son on Jan. 6. We found him safe and sound around 9 p.m. He had been missing for five hours when we finally found him.
Thank you to all of you who had gone out that night to look for him and all the prayers that all of you said that helped him come home safely. I thank all of you for worrying about a little boy whom most of you had never met. All of you helped bring him home safely with your prayers and now all of you are in mine.
From a mother’s love, thank you.
Couple thankful for snow ‘angels’
There is a good Samaritan in the Rogers Road area. We moved from Oxnard, Calif. and have lived on Rogers Road less than a year.
The snow and ice arrived before we had honed our snow shoveling skills and we are definitely not young people. The good Samaritan had been cleaning our driveway.
We do not know who is doing this we hope the good Samaritan sees this letter and knows how much we appreciate this kind and thoughtful act.
