Auxiliaries join together for Saturday lunch
The eighth season of the all-auxiliary luncheon will be at noon Saturday at the Eagles Aerie. The luncheon is an opportunity for members of any and all auxiliaries to visit and become acquainted with the goals and efforts of other groups. Guests are encourage to decorate and wear hats and-or costumes.

Snowmachine course canceled
The SAFE Kids snowmachine safety course scheduled for Saturday at Soldotna Middle School has been canceled due to lack of snow. For more information, call 262-8195.
Volunteer firefighters sought
Central Emergency Services is seeking volunteer firefighters from Kenai, Soldotna, Sterling, Kasilof, Kalifornsky Beach and Funny River areas. To pick up an application packet, stop by CES station 1 in Soldotna, or call 262-4792 for more information.
Swim lessons to start

Groundhog Day fund-raiser planned

Health clinics scheduled
The Homer public health nurse will visit several communities for general health clinics in February. Clinics will be held Feb. 18 in the Seldovia city multipurpose room, Feb. 24 at Nikolaevsk school and Feb. 26 at the Ninilchik clinic. Clinics include immunizations, well child check-ups and pregnancy tests.
