Mushers make campers happy

Many thanks to the wonderful mushers and handlers from the Peninsula Sled Dog and Mushing Association, who took time from their busy schedules to bring their teams and sleds out to the statewide FAS (Fetal Alcohol Syndrome) Camp to give kids rides on Jan. 16 at Solid Rock.
Mushers and handlers included Mitch Michaud, Jane Fuerstenau, Josh Hudson, Bill Berkhahn, Lea Paddock, Mindee Morning, Connie Ferguson, Karla Hudson, Denise Dutile, Patti Berkhahn and Martha Cooper.
Everyone had a blast, no one got hurt, and the kids and dogs went home happy!
