Crime Stoppers seeks information about car theft

Central Peninsula Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of suspects involved in a vehicle theft in the VIP subdivision of Kenai.

On Dec. 18, 2004, in the middle of the night, a 1994 Toyota Camry was stolen from a driveway on Setnet Court and later found abandoned on Westway Road off Kalifornsky Beach Road with extensive damage to the exterior.

Anyone with information about the felony crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 283-TIPS or toll free (800) 478-HALT. Anonymous tips also may be entered online at The Web site gives access to the Central Peninsula Crime Stoppers program for information on unsolved crimes and how to submit tips.

Crime Stoppers pays cash for information that leads to the arrest of felony suspects. Crime Stoppers does not use caller ID or recorded lines, and callers need not give their names.
