A spaghetti dinner fundraiser will be held Feb. 4 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Soldotna High School. Funds will benefit Marisol Tapia who is fighting breast cancer. The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for youth ages 12 years old and under.

The Boys & Girls Club registration deadlines are:
* Indoor Soccer League, youth ages 4 years old (by March 22) through the fifth grade. Deadline to register is Feb. 5 at 4 p.m. Cost is $60 and the player must be a current 2010 member. Practices begin the week of March 22.
* Karate is on going and cost $50 per month. Karate is open to youth ages 8 through 18 years old.

The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease will host a "Go Red" red dress fashion show at 7 p.m. Feb. 6 in the Denali room at Central Peninsula Hospital. Admission price is $5. Tickets are available at Charlottes, River City Books, CPH gift shop or at the door. Proceeds will benefit the Cardiac Patient Support Network at the hospital.
Hospice of the Central Peninsula will host a Celebration of Remembrance as an opportunity from community members whom are processing grief after the death of a loved one to join together to remember those family members.
The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 6 at Christ Lutheran Church Soldotna. Attendees may bring a photo of their family member to share.
Music, fellowship, and remembering are planned and resources will be available.

A Valentine's wallyball tournament will be held at the Kenai Recreation Center on Feb. 13. It is a three on three game format. Women vs. women, men vs. men, and co-ed vs. co-ed teams are planned.
The games will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. To receive a T-shirt, rosters and fees are due by Jan. 27 at 10 p.m. Rosters will not be accepted after Feb. 5. The cost is $15 per player/$45 per team. Call Alice Bitterich at 283-3855.
The Alaska Office of Boating Safety and Alaska State Parks is offering Alaska Water Wise, a free 8-hour course approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) and recognized by the U.S. Coast Guard.
The course is scheduled for Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for teeans and adults at the Kenai River Center.
The course satisfies most states' boating safety education requirements and may even qualify boaters for boat insurance discounts. Segments include: pre-departure preparation, boating operations, boating emergencies, cold-water survival, navigation/rules of the road and legal requirements.
Students who attend all sessions and pass the written exam and skills will be issued a course completion certificate.
