Ashley Waldrip of Soldotna and Patrick Moore of Palmer were married in an afternoon ceremony Aug. 22, 2009, at the home of the groom's parents. Father of the groom Joseph Moore officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Skip and Mari Waldrip, of Soldotna. Ashley is employed by North Star Behavioral Health, in Anchorage. She wore a white tea length gown with spaghetti straps, beaded bodice and handkerchief hem. She carried a bouquet of tiger lilies and stargazer lilies. Brittany Manzek was the maid of honor. Other attendants included bridesmaid Tiffany Thompson and flower girl Kayla Moore.
The groom is the son of Joe and Sandy Moore of Palmer. Patrick is employed by the city of Wasilla. For the ceremony he wore a white button down shirt and black Carhartts. His best man was Sean Moore. Eli Waldrip served as a groomsman and John Moore as the ring bearer.
The reception was also held at the home of the groom's parents.
The newlyweds took a road trip around Alaska as their honeymoon and now make their home in Eagle River.
