ANCHORAGE (AP) -- An earthquake about 50 miles northwest of Homer was felt by Alaskans from Kodiak to Palmer on Wednesday night.
Bruce Turner of the West Coast Alaska Tsunami Warning Center said the 5.4 quake was centered in Tuxedni Bay across Cook Inlet from Homer.
The quake occurred at 8:30 p.m. Turner said there were no reports of damage.
