Siblings called to serve missions
Millie Carlson, a 1998 Kenai Central High School graduate, has been called to serve an 18-month mission in Los Angeles for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She will join former Nikiski resident Rachel John-son in Los Angeles. Carlson will spend three weeks in the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah, before going to California.

Hans Carlson, a 2000 graduated of KCHS, will spend two months in the Missionary Training Center in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to learn the Portuguese language. He will then serve the remainder of his two years in the Sao Paulo-Interlagos area.
The Carlsons are the children of Carl and Kathy Carlson of Kenai. Their grandparents are Doyle and Helen Carlson of Kasilof.
