‘She Can Ski’ set to glide

Peninsula women of all ages and abilities are invited to take part in the third annual Tsalteshi She Can Ski event held on Super Bowl Sunday.

This 5-kilometer ski event takes place on the trails behind Skyview High School on Feb. 4 at 11:30 a.m. (classic), and 12:30 p.m. (skate). Festive attire is encouraged.

Preregistration is at Kaladi Brothers in Soldotna on Friday, Feb. 2, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. and there are opportunities to have skis waxed by the Skyview Ski Team. Registration also is available at 10:30 a.m. at Skyview on race day.

Sign up individually or with a partner. Proceeds benefit The LeeShore Center and Tsalteshi Trails. Free refreshments will be provided.
