Homer Electric Association is looking for nominations for its Board of Directors.
The board has nine directors, all of whom are members of the utility. Three seats (one from each district) are up for election this spring.
The districts are Kenai-Nikiski, Soldotna-Sterling-Kasilof and Ninilchik-Homer-Seldovia.
Potential board members can get a candidacy packet from HEA's office in Kenai or online at www.homerelectric.com. Packets are due March 4 and require 15 signatures from HEA members in their district.
Members vote only for the seat in their district. The current directors are David Thomas of Kenai, Tim Evans of Soldotna and Mike Wiley of Clam Gulch.
Ballots will be distributed on April 1, with the results calculated on May 5 at HEA's annual meeting.
