The Nikiski Chamber of Commerce has moved the venue of its weekly luncheon to Ohana's Family Restaurant.
Lt. Kurt Phillips, with the U.S. Coast Guard Kenai office will speak today at noon. Next week's speaker will be David Dilbreath, CEO of Central Peninsula General Hospital. His topic will be construction at the hospital.

Government contracting workshops planned
The Procurement Technical Assistance Center Alaska will hold two workshops at the Kenai Small Business Development Center at Red Diamond Center, Suite 16, on Feb. 8. The first one, Federal Certification Programs Overview, will be from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Ten Steps to Successful Government Contracting will be from 1 to 3 p.m.
