The Blood Bank of Alaska Kenai Peninsula Center's donor appreciation open house was a great success thanks to many businesses and individuals who contributed goods and services for door prizes, media coverage, food and blood donations.
I would like to recognize the following and say thanks for everything: Solar Flair Tanning Salon, Subway, Haircutter's, Frames N' Things, KSRM Radio, Pizza Boys, Peninsula Clarion, Merrill Sikorski Consulting, Buckets, Koob Chiropractic Clinic, Mykel's Restaurant, Radio Shack Soldotna, KBBI and KDLL Public Radio, Arby's, Phillips, Don Jose's Soldotna, Riverside House Restaurant, Agrium, Key Bank, Little Ski-Mo's, Kenai Vision Center and Peninsula Beauty Supply.
I also would like to say thank you to Lisa Parker for being our guest on the Coffee Table program on KDLL and KBBI. She is a lifelong donor going on her seventh gallon and offered much inspiration to the listeners and donors.
Of course the true heroes are the donors themselves! We had a huge turnout and a record number of donors. There is no way to ever say thank you enough to those of you who give of yourselves every time you donate blood.
The staff here at the Blood Bank of Alaska Kenai Peninsula Center, along with myself and the many people whose lives you continue to help save, say thank you!
