Hereford, Ariz. resident Bruce Hawkins died peacefully Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006, at his home with family at his side. He was 71.
Services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24 at the Bisbee Nazarene Church.
“Bruce was a loving father and husband, married to his beloved wife of 47 years, Charlene Hawkins. He was a man of honesty and integrity, a tradesman, teacher, pilot, inventor and founder of Circle H Industries, through which he manufactured his inventions. He also was a man who was never too busy to set aside what he was doing to help others,” his family said.
Mr. Hawkins was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene; grandson, Shane; and granddaughter, Pamela.
He is survived by his sons, Dale, and his wife, Cheryl, of Soldotna, Kent, Grant of Montana, Lane and his wife, Jeannie, of Hereford, and Von and his wife, Priscilla, of McNeal, Ariz.; grandchildren, Chandra, Misty, Fawnda, Lena, Bruce, Shelby and Sean; five great-grandchildren; brother, Armond, and his wife, Dorothy, of Washington; and sister, Marie, of Tennessee.
Arrangements were handled by Jensen’s Sierra Vista Mortuary in Arizona.
