Carter, Trotter united in beach ceremony

Jesse Carter of Nikiski and John Trotter of Anderson were married Friday, Sept. 28, 2001, in a private sunset wedding on the beach in Maui, Hawaii, and spent their honeymoon exploring Maui and Oahu.
The bride is the daughter of Steven and Teri Carter of Nikiski. She is a 1996 graduate of Nikiski High School and received a bachelor's degree from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2000. She is employed with the UAF development office as a research assistant.
The groom is the son of Bob and Connie Trotter of Klawock. He is a 1996 graduate of Metlakatla High School and is pursuing his air-frame and power-plant mechanic certificate. He is employed by Air Cargo Express as a mechanic's assistant.
The couple met while attending UAF.
