SoHi, Seward split on court

The Seward and Soldotna basketball teams split a pair of nonconference games Tuesday at Seward.

SoHi won the girls game, 40-33. Seward coach Roger Steinbrecher said the Stars were on fire from the field early in the game in jumping out to an 11-point lead at halftime.

In the boys game, Seward's Isaac Elhard scored 11 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Seahawks to a 59-58 victory.
