Addictions group meets

Reformers Unanimous, a Christ-centered addictions program, meets from 7 to 9 p.m. Fridays at the Immanuel Baptist Church.

The program is designed to direct the addicted back to God’s support group — the church. For more information, call 283-9361.

Clothes Quarters lists schedule

Clothes Quarters is open the first Saturday of the month from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. through April and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays. It is in the back of the parking lot of Our Lady of the Angels Church, 225 S. Spruce St., in Kenai.

Baha’i classes slated

Spiritual education classes for children ages 5 to 7 will be held weekly at 10 a.m. Saturdays beginning this week. The fundamental principles such as truth, love, unity and justice using the teachings of the Baha’i Faith will be explored.

A course titled Reflections on the Life of the Spirit will be held at the same time for adults and older youth. This course explores the Baha’i writings, prayer and the meaning of life and death. For location or more information, call 283-6650.

Matrix Church moves to mall

The Matrix Church is moving to the Triumvirate Theater across from Teriyaki Express in the Peninsula Center Mall for this month. A service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Feb. 12. One of the themes of the service will be an Esther love story shared between Phoebe and Kermit. Matrix also will give away free gas cards, as well as lunch supplies. Soldotna aglow to meet

Soldotna Day Aglow meets from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesdays at Peninsula Christian Center. A Beth Moore Bible study, “A Heart Like His,” is in progress and is about seeking the heart of God through the study of David. For more information, call Brenda at 262-2569.

Nikiski group offers Bible study

Nikiski Aglow is offering the Beth Moore Bible Study program centered on the Word of God. Every Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the North Star Methodist Church in Nikiski.

Leadership strategist to speak

Dale Van Steenis, founder of Leadership Strategies Inc., will speak at Abundant Life Assembly of God in Sterling. The author of “Miracles Around the Globe” will report on the movement of the spirit around the world.

Presentations are planned for 7 p.m. Saturday; 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday; and 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. For more information, call 262-7266.

Group studies book of Joshua

“Precepts,” a women’s Bible study on the book of Joshua, is being offered at 10 a.m. Thursday by the First Baptist Church of Kenai.
