KPHA squad plays three in Fairbanks
The Kenai Peninsula Hockey Association PeeWee B team recently played three games in Fairbanks.
In the first game, KPHA tied the Fairbanks Grizzlies at 1. The goal was by Branden Fisher, assisted by Josh Kerkvliet. Goalie Keegan Remsen had 14 saves.
In the second game, KPHA picked up a 2-1 win over the Grizzlies. William Granger had 17 saves in the game. The goals for KPHA came from Morgan Cunningham, assisted by Zack Weisz and Tyler Cue, and Zack Zulkanycz, assisted by Zack Sonnichsen.
In the third game, KPHA topped the Grizzlies 3-1, with William Granger makes seven saves on eight shots and Keegan Remsen making 14 saves on 14 shots. The goals came from Cunningham, assisted by Cue and Matt Boulette; Sonnichsen, assisted by Kerkvliet and Cunningham; and Zulkanycz, assisted by Weisz and Sonnichsen.
