Several cadets and senior members of the Kenai Composite Squadron were honored at the group's annual Christmas banquet.

Cadet Hansen,13, received a special plaque in honor of being the youngest cadet in Alaska to earn the General Billy Mitchell award. The cadets also were promoted to 2nd Lieutenant after passing tests in aerospace education, leadership theory and physical fitness.

Reid and Naythen Hansen won the paper airplane contest, and Randy Willis won for the senior members.
