Bible study group to meet

Nikiski Aglow meets at 9:30 a.m. Wednesdays at North Star Methodist Church. It is open to area women. For more information, call Bev at 776-8022, Elaine at 776-8613 or Wanda at 776-8691.

Today, Soldotna resident Sharon Heselius will be the featured speaker at a Nikiski Aglow meeting at 7 p.m. at the church. Heselius is a mother, artist and speaker. It is open to the public.

Clothes 2 Go open

Clothes 2 Go is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays in the basement of the Nikiski Inlet Faith Church. Items are 25 cents and up. For more information, call Eula Miller at 776-8251.

Clothing available

Clothes Quarters in the back of the parking lot at 225 S. Spruce Road at the Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Kenai will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16 and 23 and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and March 5. It will be closed Wednesday.

Quartet to sing

The Young Messenger Quartet will preform at 7 p.m. today at the North Kenai Chapel, at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Lighthouse Community Church and at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Lighthouse Community Church, all in Nikiski.

The Saturday concert will be in celebration of The Lighthouse Community Church 20th anniversary. The group performed in the early to mid-1970s with The Oak Ridge Boys, The Imperials and The Blackwood Brothers. For more information, call Retha Hall at 776-8234.

Church production slated

Reality Outreach will be in Nikiski to put on the production "Heavens Gates Hells Flames." Performances will be March 20, 21 and 22.

Donations to support the production may be made to Lighthouse Community Church, Attn. Heavens Gates, P.O. Box 7496, Nikiski, AK 99635.

The production is being sponsored by Lighthouse Community Church, as well as First Baptist Church of Port Nikiski, Inlet Faith, North Kenai Chapel, New Hope Fellowship, North Star Methodist and Mount Redoubt Baptist churches.

Church moves meeting place

The Peninsula New Testament Church will meet at 9:45 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. Sundays through March at the Kenai River Center on Funny River Road in Soldotna. It is open to the public. The church is sponsored by the American Baptist Association. For more information, call 260-3431.

Addictions group to meet

Reformers Unanimous, a national Christ-centered addictions program is forming a chapter in Kenai. It will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. on Fridays at the Immanuel Baptist Church. Also being offered is "Kids RU" a children's program that teaches children of Reformers Unanimous participants how to avoid addictions. For more information on either program, call 283-9361.
